Our Magnum ice cream's new vegan recipe, now containing soy protein instead of pea protein, enhances the taste across our entire vegan ice cream range. We're committed to constantly evolving our product development and portfolio to bring pleasure seekers our signature velvety ice cream and cracking chocolate.
Testing with consumers found that they really enjoyed our new vegan ice cream formulation with soy protein. The revised formulation provides our best velvety ice cream experience in a vegan format. We can't wait for you to try it.
Magnum Vegan Ice cream range is available in Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Coop, Morrisons, Farm foods (Vegan Classic only), and Ocado. It also may be available in local convenience stores and corner shops, but availability will be subject to the specific retailer’s discretion. Please note: UK stores will be beginning to stock the new Vegan Ice cream range at different times, and some stores may experience stock shortages. Please check online for its availability in your nearest supermarket.
The new Magnum Vegan Ice cream range contains three ultimately indulgent flavours: Magnum Vegan Classic, Magnum Vegan Almond, and Magnum Collection Blueberry Cookie.
You may continue to notice the old formulation of our vegan ice cream in stores for some time before the new recipe becomes available.
Existing stock of the old formulation will continue to be sold until it sells out or passes its sell-by date. The new Magnum Vegan recipe, made with soy protein instead of pea protein, will replace the old stock.
Due to the shelf life of our previous plant-based ice cream recipe, it may still be possible to occasionally find in store. Please be sure to inspect the label each time before buying our products to check they’re suitable for you. If you see our new vegan ice cream recipe in store, it will be clearly indicated on the front of the pack that the product is made with soy.
For the latest and most accurate information, always check the ingredient list on the back of the pack. When any of the fourteen EU-recognised allergens occur in our vegan ice cream products, they are highlighted in bold or capitals in the ingredient list.

Possible cross-contamination with allergens is listed at the end of the ingredient list with "May contain". Gluten-containing ingredients are among the 14 listed allergens and are clearly indicated on the back of the pack if present in any of our products.
At the moment, all the products in the vegan range will be making the switch from pea protein to soy protein in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
