MAGNUM PLEASURE PASS 2025 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Promoter: Unilever UK Limited, Lever House, 3 St James Road, Kingston Upon Thames, United Kingdom, KT1 2BA. The Promoter is responsible for administering the scan-to-win element of the Promotion and for conducting the instant wins.
2. The Administrator: Umbrella Risk Management Limited, Dodwell House, Chilton Business Centre, Chilton Buckinghamshire, HP18 9LS. The Administrator is responsible for winner’s notification and for fulfilling the prizes.
3. Eligibility:
This Promotion is open to GB (England, Wales and Scotland) residents aged 18 years or over who: (a) have a smartphone; (b) internet access; and (c) a valid PayPal account (to receive the spending money prize).
a. The following are not eligible to enter this Promotion: employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with this Promotion, including without limitation, advertising agencies, PR, prize suppliers and legal advisors. In these Terms and Conditions, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse members of such employees or of anyone with whom such employees are domiciled.
4. Promotional Period: This Promotion opens at 00:00 GMT on 20th March 2025 and closes at 23:59 BST on 31st May 2025. Entries received outside of the Promotional Period shall not be valid for entry into this Promotion and will be void.
5. To enter:
a. Visit the competition page on the Magnum website and complete the sign-up form at https://www.magnumicecream.com/uk/pleasure-pass-competitions/Cannes-2025.html. Entrants can also access the page by clicking the Ad on Meta.
b. To complete the sign-up form, you must provide the following information:
· First name;
· Last name; and
· Email address
c. Submit your entry by clicking the ‘Enter Now’ button to be in with a chance to win the Prize (details below) via a prize draw at the end of the Promotional Period.
6. One entry per email address only. If an entrant attempts to enter using multiple identities or submits entries with the same email address more than once, they will be disqualified, and any prize won will be forfeited. The Promoter reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether an entrant has already submitted an entry and to disqualify any subsequent entries or prize entitlement.
7. No third party or bulk entries. Entries via third parties, consumer groups or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent that either an entrant is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data; using multiple email addresses; using multiple postal addresses; acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter; using identities other than their own; creating fake identities or using any other automated or manual means in order to increase that entrant's or a household’s entries or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these entrants and their household will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.
8. Illegible, incorrect and/or incomplete Entries will not be accepted or eligible to win the prize(s). No responsibility can be accepted for Entries that are illegible, incorrect, incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason.
9. We reserve the right to verify each winner and ask for proof of identity, age and address, and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions. We also reserve the right in our sole and reasonable discretion to disqualify any entrant who: (a) we have reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions; and/or (b) corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion; and/or (c) engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Promotion. We also reserve our legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.
10. Prizes:
1. There is 1x Trip to Cannes for 2 people, to be won via a Prize Draw. This prize consists of:
· 2x return economy flights to and from any UK airport flying direct to Nice.
· 7-night accommodation in a 4* hotel (1 room, double occupancy and breakfast included) (check-in and check-out dates and times will vary depending on the tickets received).
· 15kg luggage per person
· Private transfer (airport in Nice to Hotel in Cannes and return)
· Breakfast daily
· £1,000 (one thousand) spending money in total (to cover lunches and dinners, intra-city transport and transfers to and from arrival and departure airports) paid via PayPal. Spending money only payable by Paypal
Travel dates are set by the Promoter and must take place within 1st June 2025 to 1st May 2026 excluding 12th December 2025 – 6th January 2026 and 26th March 2026 – 10th April 2026. The winner will be required to select travel dates that fall within this timeframe. Flights schedules are subject to change without notice. The Promoter is not liable for any missed events or opportunities or expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay or ground transportation delay.
11. The winner will be required to submit 3 preferred dates of travel with at least 6 weeks’ notice before travel and all dates are strictly subject to availability.
12. NOTICE: The winner and guest of the Prize must both hold a valid passport and have authority to enter France. This must be obtained and confirmed before travelling to France. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their guest to ensure their availability to travel and that they have a minimum of 6 months validity on their passport from the date of travel, visa (if required) and right to travel to France.
13. If a visa is required for entry into France, the Promoter is not responsible for the visa application process, issuance and/or use, which is solely under the control of the government of France. Any costs associated with the visa application are borne by the winner and their guest and are not reimbursed by the Promoter.
14. The winner must be at least 18 years old and shall remain at all times responsible for their guest. Guests may be under 18, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
15. The winner (and their guest) is responsible for ensuring that they have adequate and sufficient travel and medical insurance for their period of travel and duration of their stay in France and will be responsible for costs associated with obtaining such insurance.
16. It is the winner’s responsibility to organise their own transport from their home/location to the departure airport in the UK and back from the arrival airport upon their return. Unless expenses are expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions to be expenses which are part of any prize, all other expenses incurred by the winners and their guest in preparation for, or during the trip, are the responsibility of the winner and their guest, including but not limited to all other meals, transfers, insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, spending money beyond the £1,000 provided, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls and all other ancillary costs are not included.
17. The winner and their guest will be solely responsible for all taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes they receive, regardless of whether it, in whole or in part, is used.
18. It is the responsibility of the winner and their guest to ensure that they have complied with all necessary travel requirements, for example:
· The booking cannot be changed (e.g., dates, guest names, etc.) without incurring administration or cancellation fees for the travel/hotel/event operator. These fees would be the responsibility of the winner.
· All components of the prize must be claimed at the same time.
· Once booked, the prize cannot be changed or supplemented.
· Obtaining all necessary medical needs (including immunisations) and documentation, applicable to France.
19. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part. The prize must be accepted as offered and redeemed by the named winner only. There is no alternative prize, in whole or part (save where the Promoter in its sole discretion deems it reasonably necessary to provide an alternative prize). The prize cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount.
20. Prize elements, including air travel provider and hotel, will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. All travel is always subject to availability and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner. Departure airport will depend on the flight availability to Nice.
21. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. The winner and their guest must travel together, including travelling on the same flights and staying in the same accommodation and possess all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if and as applicable. No compensation or alternative travel plans will be arranged should the winners and/or their guest miss their outbound or return flights or fail to meet any check in requirements for any reason. These costs will be the sole responsibility and expense of the winner and their guest. A credit card may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel for all incidental charges.
22. The Promoter will not be liable to winner or guests for any costs, damages, injuries or losses incurred by the winner or their guest as a result of travelling to or attending the trip.
23. The Promoter reserves the right to provide alternative prizes of equal or greater value should circumstances outside our control make this necessary.
24. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random using a random name generator of individuals who have submitted valid entries received on or before the closing date. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final.. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.
25. Winner Notification & Prize fulfilment: The Prize Draw will take place within 7 days of the Promotion close date. The winner will notified by email to the email address inputted upon entry within 7 days of the prize draw. The winner will have 14 (fourteen) days to respond back with their prize acceptance and a mobile number for prize fulfilment.
26. If the winner does not respond to the initial email notification within 14 (fourteen) days their prize will be forfeited and a reserve winner, selected at the same time as the initial winner, will be contacted. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.
27. The Promoter will share the winner’s contact details with a third-party agency who will fulfil all flight and hotel accommodation and will liaise directly with winner from hello@magnumpp2025.co.uk to provide a mobile number for contact and claim their prize. The winner will also be requested to share their PayPal details to receive the spending money payment.
28. Upon receipt of a valid claim, the winner will be contacted via a telephone call on the mobile number they provided after their win notification email to arrange fulfilment of their Prize. The winner will be required to confirm their and their selected guests’: first name, last name, email address, passport details and any other necessary information for fulfilment purposes via the telephone call.
29. If, after 3 (three) attempts and within 5 (five) days of the initial phone call, we have not successfully contacted the winner, or if the winner has been unavailable, the prize will be forfeited and may be reallocated to a reserve winner.
30. If you are selected as a winner and Unilever receives a request from a consumer that a valid prize award took place, Unilever will share the first letter of both your first name and surname with them, e.g. “AA”. If the UK Advertising Standards Authority request confirmation that a valid award took place, we will share your first and last name directly with them.
31. The winners (and their guest) may be required to participate in publicity arising from this Promotion and may be filmed / photographed / interviewed by the Promoter or on our behalf during the trip. The winner grants us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute and make derivative works of such footage / photographs / testimonials in any media and through any media channel. In the event of such a request, a consent disclaimer would be provided.
32. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. In addition, by entering the competition, the entrants consent to the Promotor sharing the winners’ details with a third-party agency for the purpose of facilitating this promotion. The personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Controller’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices/united-kingdom-english.html. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
33. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment and in the event of an early cancellation or termination of this Promotion, the Promoter will select winner(s) from all valid and eligible Entries received prior to any such early cancellation or termination. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the Promoter.
34. These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
